This Friday will see the expiration of nearly $20 billion worth of Bitcoin and Ethereum options, accounting for nearly half of Deribit&#8217;s total open interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The expiration of options may trigger end-of-quarter volatility selling, especially in the case of flat spot prices and continued rolling of short positions by sellers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If BTC breaks $100,000, volatility may remain stable, otherwise altcoins may see an opportunity to catch up.
