April 27th, Rodrigo Valdes, Director of the Western Hemisphere Department of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), stated at the Spring Meeting press conference that El Salvador is still complying with the commitment of the overall government sector to no longer accumulate Bitcoin, which is a key performance criterion agreed upon with the IMF.
It is worth noting that, according to data from the El Salvador Ministry of Finance website, El Salvador has acquired a total of 7 Bitcoins in the past 7 days, bringing its Bitcoin holdings to 6158.18 Bitcoins.
