On December 26th, stablecoin infrastructure company WSPN (Worldwide Stablecoin Payment Network) announced the appointment of Jeff Wong as an independent director. Mr. Wong has over 25 years of experience in technology innovation and corporate transformation, having served as Global Chief Innovation Officer at EY from 2015 to 2024, leading the company’s global innovation program and establishing advanced technology labs focused on areas such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, quantum computing, and Web3.
Prior to joining EY, Mr. Wong held leadership positions at eBay and J.P. Morgan Partners. He is currently a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Forbes Technology Council, and serves as founding chairman of the Asia Society’s Technology and Innovation Committee. In addition, he has been a member of the Future Council on the Global Innovation Ecosystem at the World Economic Forum and has received important awards such as “50 Outstanding Asian American Business Leaders”. As an independent director of WSPN, Mr. Wong will leverage his expertise in innovation management and emerging technologies to help the company accelerate its global market expansion.
